How to be and dress chic: 3 easy steps.

If you are like me then looking and feeling chic, particuarly in this cold weather is difficult. As much as I love layering sometimes you just want to look and feel chic without the extra layers. Here I have styled a pair of corduroy pants which I have been desperate to get my hands on after seeing them on some of my favourite bloggers. After checking the stock levels on Mango for the hundreth time I finally managed to get a pair of these sassy cordoruy pants for myself. I think I have stumbled across my new addiction as I simply cannot get enough of corduroy clothing now.

3 simple steps I swear by when creating a chic yet easy to put together outfit:

1. Statement earrings are a must - there are sooo many statement earrings you can get your hands on and most of which are super cheap. Case in hand, these Mango face earrings were under £10!

2. Keep the colours 'plain'. Floral patterns can be super cute and all but sometimes can be too over powering when on pants for example or shirts.

3. Flare pants are an absolute MUST. It seems so strange to me as I used to deteste flared pants but now I see them in an entire different light. Flare pants look SO good with just about any outfit and can really make it look so chic its crazy.

Case in hand, this outfit was so easy to put together.

Wishing you all a successful, healthy and happy new year ahead. It is hard to believe that today marks the end of 2017. I am so looking forward to new inspiration and sassy outfits for the New Year.

The Gucci Dionysus GG Supreme mini bag, update one year on!

The Gucci Dionysus GG Supreme mini bag wallet on chain

So I had a few of you guys message me about the condition of the Gucci Dionysus bag from every day use and if it really is worth the big bucks that it costs. The big question for me every time I invest in a designer bag - whether it be vintage or brand new, which in this case for me the Gucci Dionysus was my first ever designer purchase brand new from the stores. Normally I opt for vintage because 1. I save a fraction of the price from brand new in store prices and 2. as long as you purchase from a reputable store i.e. Vestiaire Collective where staff check the bag prior to shipping you can be pretty certain you will not be dissapointed. In spite of this last year I questioned my partner Nathan, if I should take the opportunity to purchase the Gucci Dionysus brand new. It was afterall a bag that is hard to get your hands on and I had been lusting after forever, even now a year on it frequently seems to go out of stock when I link the bag on my outfit posts. I can promise you one thing though, this bag does not fail to dissapoint!

Admitably I have not been using the bag on an everyday sort of basis although it is roomy for its size, I could not justify bringing it to university with me so I have kept it more for a weekend out type of bag - and even after using it on mutiple nights out it still looks brand new. For this reason alone I would justify the amount paid. That and in the future should I decide to sell I know I could get a high price if sold on the correct platform although that day is a long time away. I guess our 'first' designer bag purchased brand new is kind of our 'baby' so it is too hard to justify ever parting with it.

If you are searching for a designer bag which you would like to use on a daily basis and you are aiming to fit in your everyday items i.e. phone, makeup, hair accessories, wallet (and a few additional pieices) then this is certaintly the bag to opt for. The classic print is to die over whilst the chain stap is long enough to be worn over your shoulder, tooked under again for a shorter length or full length across your body. You could also use it as a clutch, although I personally hate that idea. The ideas are endless.

Until next time. Merry Christmas angels.

Dreamy AF coat.

Embracing the oversized attire to the max today alongside my latest addition to the wardrobe this UH-MAZING Louis Vuitton Neverfull in vintage condition it certainly needs some tlc and to die for floral knee-high boots. This combination never fails. I can picture these boots looking rad with anything.

FYI I have reverted back to mixing up my photography with my other lens and jeez I have missed it so. It is actually quite difficult to shoot with it needing to be shot from a long distance range, but hey it is back in motion now.

OH and as I write this post it is Black Friday weekend, so expect a wish-list coming your way shortly angels.

Being a blogger and a full-time undergraduate student.

Balancing blogging and studying full time can be very difficult, particularly when you are constantly battling the British weather - yes it rains here all of the time. Putting together outfit posts and finding those 'unique' 'picture-worthy' pieces can be super difficult. Having said that, I am always not stop searching for inspiration, whether it be in the form of Pinterest, Instagram or fashion bloggers alike. Sneaking off to take some cheeky photographs is always something I can fit into my diary!
